Had quite a spectacular dinner here! Look at their attention to detail for every dish. Definitely lived up to their one Michelin star. Would recommend to dine before it turns dark, and you get to admire the pretty skyline of the city. I was too full after the 8 course dinner. It took about 2.5- 3 hours. But surely worth every minute.
View on GoogleBeen here a few times and the food has been consistently good. It’s my go to place for a fancy lunch with friends / solo lunch. Every dish is absolutely created with so much care and is quite literally, perfect. The pastas here have been on point as well. The dishes are very “clean” and a delight on the palate with the natural sweetness of the fresh ingredients shining through. Highly recommend.
View on GoogleThis place WOW me in different ways, first is how artistic the food were plated and by the way it looks you tend to just take photos...it isn't just the looks but also the taste that brought me to liking visiting Italy.. Also on how warmth the service were, upon entering, until we left - we were brought us to our table assisting me/us with elegance (we were seated next to the window with the Marina Bay Sands view) it was really romantic. I just wanted to commend the service staffs, who let us feel comfortable for the whole dinner, on how they share each and every dish, they do upselling as well were I don't feel they're pushy, they sounded they trust the dish they're selling and it feels that it is really a must have/try, and when they know that I and my friends are talking, they don't intrude. I like that. Keep it up and maintain the eye for detail! The price with 1 Michelin star, I would say reasonable. I highly recommend this place especially for couple.
View on GoogleWe booked the Art X Sommer dinner which was a one night only collaboration between the Chefs of Art and Sommer. I have not dined in both restaurants before so it is a good chance to try the best of both Micheline 1 star restaurants. We invited some foreign guests who were visiting Singapore. It started great with the oysters and the starters, but there were some misses when the actual course started. The asparagus was cooked perfectly however the mussel cream was too light as we could barely taste any mussel from the cream. The pasta soaked up too much of the sea urchin sauce after mixing but it was still quite dry. The rest of the dishes was good though like the crayfish, we soaked up the remaining sauces with the sourdough. The lobster with artichoke was perfect. The dish presentation was good and we really liked the dessert and had lots of fun taking pictures of it. View was fantastic. Book a 6:30pm dinner and dine as the sky turn dark and the city lights come on. Our foreign guests were very impressed with the view and took lots of photos outside. Service is good with servers smiling and joking with us as they presented the dishes. Toilet is clean.
View on GoogleService is Great. Hosts are welcoming. Food is all right but not great. The view and vibe is beautiful. A clean view on Singapore’s Bay Area (MBS and Gardens by the Bay). We ordered two set lunch for Saturday which is around $370 (after ++) with white truffle addon. At time, the service crew seems to be in a rush to always clean our used utensil, I like the active self initiatives however, it often disrupted my conversations with my counterpart for a long awaited catchup. The food is all right. Very Italian like the ones I had in Italy, it’s more like simple good food with the taste of the ingredients itself. **The below view are purely subjective to me (who enjoys Italian dishes a lot) In general, the pasta is a bit salty. I ordered the white truffle pasta, they live shave the white truffle ($88 add-on). The saltiness overshadows the aroma from the truffle. A bit of disappointment for this one. Food is all normal, portion is more than enough for the set lunch. However, the dishes didn’t surprise me at all. Food is not like a real treat to my palate. Bread is not warm enough when served. I would recommend go for more non starred restaurants for new food experience.
