I’ve been a regular a number of years now — their guo kui, especially when fresh out of the oven, is one of the very best street food you can get in Singapore. Which is very high praise in itself. For those unfamiliar, think a flattened naan that’s been stuffed with a thin layer of fixings, topped with sesame. Fantastic snack that feels light at the same time.

It’s literally flatbread baked on the spot There is quite a few flavors - beef -pork -new orlean chicken -brown sugar It was tasty when consumed freshly baked but you can hardly taste the meat as it’s rolled really thin .

My wife and I are "fairly" regulars to this China handmade flatbread kiosk at Funan Mall. It has been here for quite a number of years and has maintained its popularity in the mall. I took away today, a Brown Sugar Red Bean Guo Kui, which as always and as expected, very good - pleasantly crispy and with the optimum level of sweetness therein from the brown sugar and red bean. And it is, in my opinion, reasonably priced. Service here is friendly enough. I have no comments on the dining ambience as it is a kiosk, and I always takeaway my order home.

I bought three chicken cutlets, and they were all burnt. My child wouldn't eat them; they tasted bitter. Honestly, I think they get worse and worse with each cooking method. They don't taste as good as before. I'll never buy them again. 😭

Visited the store at 5.35 pm Saturday. Wanted to buy a red bean but the lady staff was very not in mood kind and say need to wait 15-20 mins. But there’s a lot of other Guo Kui made. Only meat is available she say. So I got a chicken scallion. And it’s very cold not crispy. And thick……………… Used to be my fav store when it’s hot and crispy. Now I don’t think I will come back again. Many times I come always don’t have red bean.
