The pho was very poor in food quality despite the restaurant price ($11.50). The soup tasted only of MSG; not a single strand of herbs such as mint and basil was present; beef was tough. Even the choice of crockeries was questionable - only disposable cutleries were available even for dine-in while the bowl literally weighed a ton.

I’ve eaten this a couple of times, and unfortunately the standard has declined. I’m not sure what changed, but it feels they have sacrificed broth quality for quantity and speed of service. In the past, service would be slower but the pho tasted better - so either I’ve become more selective after having tried different types of pho, or the standard has fallen. For the price, you’re paying for their rental and other overheads. The quality is not there.

I specifically requested no sprouts as I’m expecting, but the dish still came with a bunch of them, and the lime looked like it had already been squeezed. Quite disappointing, especially given the price — it seems the staff weren’t very attentive to the order details.

Nestled in Asia Square Food Court, the Vietnamese food stall has a simple ordering system. The rice with grilled pork and the dry noodles with chicken were just average. They didn’t taste as authentic as other Vietnamese restaurants. The pork didn’t look very appealing in one look. Considering the price is higher because of the location, expected it to be better. It still tasted good, but it was just ordinary. Lots room for improvement
