First visit today and really like the salmon mentaiko don .. Tender meat, savory mentaiko sauce, fragrance and well cooked Japanese rice. Is really one of those very nice donburi.. My colleague mention the pork belly very tender and not oily at all.. Shall try next visit.
View on GoogleDropped by this cozy spot for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and value. I’ve tried several dishes over a few visits, smoked duck don, crispy chicken don, shio pasta with katsu, and the salmon mentaiko don. The smoked duck don was delicious, the duck was tender with a nice smoky flavour, and the seasoning was spot on. The crispy chicken don was crunchy and juicy, really enjoyable as well. One thing to note: if you prefer your rice without sauce, be sure to mention it when ordering, as sweet sauce may be added by default. Prices are very reasonable, around $10.90 for a set that includes miso soup. Great for a quick lunch. The place seems to be family-run, which adds to the charm. Friendly service and hearty food, definitely worth supporting!
View on GoogleService is good and quick! Seating is adequate during lunch rush since most peple do takeaway and I can get seat immediately. Price is reasonable and good taste for the value!
View on GoogleTried Little Bowl’s signature Salmon Mentaiko Don and it was seriously delicious. The salmon was fresh, the mentaiko sauce was rich and creamy, and the whole bowl was super satisfying. Portion size was great too! The boss and staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, which made the dining experience even better. Definitely a place I’d recommend and will visit again!
View on GoogleDropped by Little Bowl and tried the Shio Pasta with Katsu and the Salmon Mentaiko Don. Both dishes were enjoyable, but the don really stood out. The salmon was tender and paired perfectly with the creamy mentaiko, creating a rich and savoury flavour. The balance of textures and taste made it a very satisfying dish.
