I’ve been to other Five Oars outlets and always enjoyed the experience, but the barista here seemed completely uninterested in what she was serving. For a place that calls itself a roastery, the coffee was shockingly diluted and tasteless — a real disappointment. It feels like a disservice to the brand and to every paying customer. I expected much better.

I think this used to be better. I ordered an 8oz white coffee with oat milk; chose the Ethiopia beans. I received the coffee super hot, not being able to drink immediatley. I'm not saying it's terrible, but it's rather average and perhaps better options around the corner. Near me, another customer was having trouble requesting the baristas to make him a macchiato but they didn't seem to understand his order.

5 oars Asia square has a SUPER STAFF!! As shown in photo, this lady can handle long queues of customers alone!! 830am now, super peak hours, she is as usual, ONE LADY show!! Not sure where other staffs are. This is everyday happening! The owner, you really need to go down to earth to see it by your own eyes.. treasures SUPER STAFF.. as it is really hard to come by….. just like a rare ruby…. Don’t just stay behind, sleep and don’t know anything…

The other reviews were accurate. Frankly, I'm shocked that the management has let this carry on for so long? Do you not look at customer reviews? Ordered the hot latte and it really looked like a bubbly mess (as seen in the pics in other reviews). The barista really had zero interest in doing her job. Pouring the leftover steamed milk into the espresso shot that was leftover from previous cup. To pay $5/6 for such a horrible experience was just mind-blowing. Rest assure that I won't be coming back, and I'll also warn others from wasting their money here too.

Very bad customer experience! Bought coffee there twice as my friend insisted their coffee was nice. My take is it’s just average, that’s better one in the vicinity. First encounter was not pleasant, the lady barista, the one with long pony tail dyed hair seemed not interested in her job, impatient and showed attitude. Second visit, served by another lady was also not any better and with no customer service. Browsing through the reviews and found that I m not the only one that had such bad experience, I hope the boss can take the customers’ reviews seriously and do something about it! There are many other coffee places at Asia square, I see no reason why I should re-visit this place again!
