Double fish spinach soup ($10) - 3 stars For the price they could afford to be more generous with the noodles and spinach. Pretty thirsty after, there's likely MSG in the soup. If I have the time I'd rather walk to Amoy Street for fish soup.
View on GooglePretty mid, pretty salty, pretty slow. I don’t like that it’s entirely single use dining materials, regardless of whether you’re eating in or not. Portions (veg and noods) are small even at medium size. Redeeming factor is location (proximity to offices) and dining environment, in comparison to hawker halls.
View on GoogleSmall med large sizes for everything on menu, can pay by cash, fave pay. Ordered no. 5 kway chap sliced fish in med size (sgd8.5), not a lot of veg, fish about 100g, quite sweet and succulent, well cooked, only found 1 bone. Kueh breaks apart easily, not the best quality, also not a lot given. Soup is clear, not thick, slightly sweet. Wongbok not as thoroughly cooked as I'd like, chinese spinach was alright. Not as much veg as I'd hoped. Chilli padi super spicy, got kick. Cashier uncle very friendly, smiled at everyone, for his friendliness I added one more star. One queue for ordering, then other queue for collection. Auntie at collection queue also quite nice. Service is good. Seating is outdoors, about 30 to 40pax, can get quite hot esp when having hot soup. Right next to funtoast, can buy drinks and bring to fish soup table (fish soup stall explicitly stated that they don't mind). I'll be back to try their banmian.
View on GoogleFeb 2024: handmade noodles were not tasty. Portion size was small and not generous with ingredients either. Not value for money at the $7+ price point. While I am not a fan of spinach, I was expecting at least that that stalls “spinach” namesake would have featured more in the dish. Definitely a recommend not to go.
View on GoogleLocated in between the street of Asia Square, closer to the 'back' of the building beside fun toast. Portions can be regular, medium, large.
