Thank you to my Deary for bringing me to this wonderful & yummy lunch. Sashimi is very very fresh and I finished up the whole plate of very tasty unagi don! Highly recommended Japanese Restaurant in Raffles Place!

Had the basic omakase and it was good. Service was excellent. Place was small but pretty empty on a weekday night. The bar chirashi was interesting as was the unagi with mushroom rice

ropped by for lunch and opt for their $80 lunch omakase set. The set started off with a small bowl of ikura as appetizer, followed by a raw oyster. Both dishes were very fresh, especially the ikura with a much firmer texture and not as salty like other places. A 5-piece sashimi was served next, comprises of the usual yellow tail amberjack, salmon and tuna. The sashimi was thick cut, fresh and firm in texture. Next is our main dish of pan seared salmon served in a flavorful and tangy sauce. A 3-piece sushi and a bowl of sushi rice covers the carb portion to ensure we are filled and the set finished off with a serving of black sesame ice cream. Overall, the dishes and presentation are on point. Price is of course on the higher end but judging from the prime location at CBD and the quality offered, it's justifiable. Service was also friendly despite the huge lunch crowd that caused some delayed in serving.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Cho Restaurant. Chef Cho is incredibly friendly and clearly passionate about his craft, he took time to share insights into the preparation of each omakase dish, which made the experience even more special and personal. The ambience is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed yet refined meal. Every dish was fresh, beautifully executed and highlighted a variety of seasonal seafood that was both delicious and thoughtfully curated. Service was equally impressive, the staff were attentive throughout, always making sure our tea was hot and our sake cups never empty. A truly enjoyable experience overall. We’ll definitely be back and would happily recommend it to more friends.
