📍 Singapore · Merlion Park | May 6, 2026, 9:12 PM We were just about to leave Merlion Park after a quiet evening walk, when suddenly at 9 PM, the music started and the water show lit up the night. Fountains danced to the rhythm, glowing in red, orange, blue and purple lights against the Marina Bay skyline — it was even more spectacular in person. My mom’s face lit up with joy as she watched the show. The best travel moments are never the ones we plan, but these unexpected little surprises that happen right in front of you, just when you least expect them.
View on GoogleThis is a must-visit spot when you come to Singapore. You'll get a panoramic view of the country's development, with skyscrapers stretching one after another, creating a truly magnificent sight. And what about the water show? It was truly amazing that it was free. I sat on the wooden floor and enjoyed the harmony of sound and light; sometimes it startled me, but I found it very interesting. Arrive early to secure the best seats and enjoy the experience!
View on GoogleBreathtaking show. It’s sobeautiful; it’s so good that I found myself holding my breath while watching. The show lasts about 20 minutes and is free of charge. You just need to arrive early to secure a good spot, as people scramble for places once the show begins. We will come back again when we visit Singapore.
View on GoogleArrive 10 to 15 minutes ahead of showtime to secure a viewing spot. The closer to the centre of the show, the better. Although there are some areas to potentially sit, most people stand along the metal barriers that separate the walkway from the bay. It was enjoyable light show, especially in the warm evening Singapore air. It is easily watched for free near the MBS. Getting there is reasonably easy using the metro.
View on GoogleThis is a free light show in the venue outside of marina bay sand shopping mall. There is usually a crowd here and it have a show from 8pm and 9pm. The shpws lasts for about 15 minutes. Good for both locals and tourists to catch the show it is impressive how the lights bends around the water to create certain effects. The music is also very loud also.
