Make use of Amex love dining discount of 50% for Ala Carte items (certain restriction applies such as wagyu beef dishes). The Black Code was excellent while I feel the sushi platter was just slightly above average which doesn’t justify the premium price tag. All in all not a bad experience, however not sure if I would return if not for the Amex discount
View on GoogleHad a wonderful dining experience at Sen of Japan. The food was beautifully presented and every dish was enjoyable, but the highlight for me was definitely the A4 Wagyu beef. It was cooked perfectly, tender, juicy, and full of rich flavour. The sushi roll was fresh and indulgent, the tempura prawns were light and crispy, and the overall meal felt refined and satisfying. Great service and a lovely ambience too. Will definitely be back.
View on GoogleVery fresh sashimi. Maguro pizza is a good mix of texture and taste of maguro on pizza, something new and different for me. The lychee tea was shaken one by one so each took some time to be served but the taste is very good indeed and worth the wait! Staff were friendly and attentive. We had a wonderful time seated by the windows and enjoying daylight and a beautiful sunset and of course the most amazing dinner
View on GoogleWe recently visited the newly renovated Sen of Japan, and the transformation is impressive. The ambience is cozy, with table arrangements now far less cramped than before. The cod fish and Magura Pizza remain consistently delicious, and the sashimi is exceptionally fresh. Kelvin, the manager, personally attended to us, recommending a beautiful sake for my husband, John. Having known Kelvin and his team including Colour for quite some time through our many visits, we always appreciate their friendliness and excellent service. Kelvin n Colour pride Sen of Japan in delivering top‑notch hospitality truly makes every dining experience at Sen memorable. Thank you, Kelvin and Colour, for always making us feel welcome. On this visit, we also met Min, who introduced us to the new dessert — Japanese Tofu Custard with Kuromitsu Kinako. It was absolutely delightful. A big thank‑you to the entire team for the wonderful service and consistently enjoyable dining experiences. We will back again coming weekend with friends this time . John & Judy
View on GoogleThis place has been at MBS for a long time and recently had renovated. My previous experience wasn’t good but I thought I’d give them a second chance. Food: small portions. Not great tasting and definitely isn’t “Japanese” enough. The ingredients aren’t special as well and the menu is designed for Chinese target audience. Service: terrible for the price. Atmosphere: too noisy and hard to talk. For the price point — there are other places to eat at MBS.
