Until 1 month ago this was my go to for lunch and good coffee. No longer. Staff are rude, inefficient and coffee is poor. Today had to wait 20 minutes for a salad when it wasn't even busy... simply because the girl couldn't remembered who ordered and didn't look for the order number. Once I asked where my meal was, finally she brought it to me without an apology and not even a smile. Terrible. Before staff and management change is my review from 6months ago... Decent cup of coffee. Great at-home service. Hearty food. This is a great place for breakfast - flat white with lightly toasted banana bread is my favourite. Good for lunxh with simple pastas - arabiata with prawns or chicken genovese are my favourites. Decent helping of prawns and chicken and good balance between sauce and pasta.
View on GoogleAwesome coffee. The staff are always friendly. It doesn't get too crowded during lunch.
View on GoogleHad a tea break during one of the weekdays. Not many people, so it's easy to get a seat even when the place is small.
View on GoogleEdit: I can no longer recommend this place. It seems that some manager thought that doing salads only would be better. The great pasta options are unfortunately gone. Initial Review. This is kind of a hidden germ in this area. It's only a dimbulah coffee outlet BUT you get a warm and friendly service (rare in Singapore), they have nice seating inside and outside and serve nice pasta for lunch. To top it all you usually don't need to fight for a seat here which is rather unique at lunch time around Tajong Pagar.
View on GoogleCoffee and salad ($20) were super disappointing for its price, taste and miniscule portion (2-3 slices of meat). The saving grace is that it's spacious, uncrowded and has a good ambience to hang out.
