Second visit to Yor Ying Thai and it continues to impress. Everything was served fresh and piping hot (except the dessert, of cos 🤣), which made the meal even more enjoyable. The deep-fried sea bass is a must-order. It was superb — perfectly crispy on the outside while still tender, juicy and hot inside. It came with a refreshing papaya salad and a couple of Thai seafood dipping sauces, which made it fun to mix and match flavours. Each sauce brought out a different dimension of the fish. The green chicken curry was rich, creamy and wonderfully infused with basil, giving it that signature Thai fragrance. Very satisfying with fragrant rice. We ended the meal with their Red Ruby dessert, done in a style that feels uniquely theirs. Served with crushed ice, red ruby water chestnut pieces, attap seeds. It was refreshing and a perfect way to end the meal. Overall, great flavours, freshly prepared dishes and consistent quality. Definitely worth returning for the superb fried fish alone.

Been here twice and we loved it so much! One of the best thai food i had in singapore. My wife being thai also had same consensus that its very authentic. I love how the chef decorate and plate the food just like in a fine dining or luxury restaurant, being it a normal restaurant with affordable prices. All the food I have tried so far was awesome and mouth watering, I couldnt describe much on each taste of the food as i would use to, recommend to go try for your own review! However the food takes quite awhile to be served, usually around 30mins thus do prepare some time in advance if your rushing off. However the long time to serve is due to the chef being the only chef in cooking, plating and decorating the food! The portion of the food is generous and quite a big portion with regards to the price. A bowl of fried rice could easier be shared around 3 people. Highly recommend this place! Ps, parking might be a little difficult especially if there is a crowd as there is only a few parking spaces outside the restaurant.

Having visited five times already, I can confidently say this hidden gem serves some of the most authentic and flavorful Thai food around. One of the standout experiences this time was discovering a special off-the-menu dish—a creamy shellfish creation cooked with coconut milk and a medley of rich Thai herbs. The dish exuded the essence of Thai countryside flavors, boasting the perfect balance of creaminess, spice, and herbal aroma. It felt like a heartfelt homage to authentic Thai cuisine. This isn’t just food; it’s an experience. Yor Ying Thai Cuisine consistently delivers the bold, rich flavors that remind me why Thai food is so universally loved. I’m already planning my next visit. Highly recommended, reasonable price with no GST and service charges too.

Food is very authentically Thai. If you can’t take spicy tell them to make it less spicy. Owner was friendly and recommended the pork neck which was delicious. Also happy that the corn salad is also authentic like what I had in Chiang Mai. They use palm sugar as you can see the viscosity of the sauce. Would recommend 😊

True hidden gem tucked away in quiet corner of Ridgewood Close. Best Thai food in Singapore! Thai Chef and service staff were extremely accommodating and very polite and genuinely nice people. The food was very reasonably priced and ingredients such as prawns were so fresh and succulent! Vibe of restaurant is like you have arrived in Thailand! Definitely worth a visit for the most authentic Thai food experience!
