Cosy place with friendly warm service and authentic Italian food. We had burrata with parma ham, calamari fritters and parmagiana eggplant for starters, margherita pizza and carbonara for mains. All were tasty with pretty generous portions. My 2yo devoured the pizza and carbonara and declared Italian to be her new fave food 😊

If anyone has ever wondered what happens when Italian food loses the will to live, this place provides the answer. The Caesar salad arrived swimming in dressing, completely overwhelming the greens and masking any nuance the salad might have had. The only flavours detectable were salt and Caesar dressing. When I politely pointed this out, the supervisor simply said, “That’s how we prepare our Caesar salad.” If that truly reflects the house standard, it may be time to reconsider the recipe. The Bolognese pasta was overcooked and soggy—far from the al dente texture I had expected from an Italian restaurant. The aglio e olio was no better, consisting mostly of oil and salt, with barely a hint of garlic or any sense of balance. To round off the experience, we were charged $3++ for tap water, which was never communicated beforehand. Being surprised with a charge for something so basic only added to the overall disappointment. Overall, this was easily one of the worst Italian dining experiences I have had. When fast-food chains manage to produce better pasta, it really says everything that needs to be said. Based on this visit alone, I would suggest diners temper their expectations. If this is their idea of Italian cuisine, Italy deserves an apology

Great Lunch with Great Buddies! Enjoyed a delightful light lunch at Madrinaa Italiano in Chip Bee Gardens. The thin-crust pizza was well-seasoned and crisp, complemented perfectly by fresh salads and a comforting soup. A simple yet satisfying spread that made for a wonderful lunch with peers. A great spot for relaxed dining and good conversation. #MadrinaaItaliano #ChipBeeGardens #ItalianFoodSG #ThinCrustPizza #LunchDate #CasualDining #FoodieSingapore #CafeHopping #christmas2025 #gathering #italiancuisine

I’ve been coming to this pizza joint since a decade or more ago, and the quality has always been consistently excellent. The staff are friendly, and the owner is incredibly welcoming — always up for a friendly chat, which makes the experience even more special. The food is amazing: great flavours, perfectly thin and crispy crusts, and a wide variety of pizza options as well as pasta dishes. Definitely worth a try, whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth! Bonus- Is that they have gluten free pizza crusts upon request!

Good restaurant with friendly and competent staff. Excellent specimen of thin crust pizza. Some fusion options (e g., I noticed one with tandoor chicken topping, though we didn't order that). There's happy hours too
