An average outlet overall, but the plus side is that there are quite a few street parking next to the outlet which is also centrally located. The food and coffee were consistent, but the service could be better. The staff seemed more focused on clearing delivery/ takeout orders than attending to customers in line. I visited on a Sunday around 10am and waited about 10 minutes even though there were only two people ahead of me. The queue kept growing longer after that, which made the wait feel unnecessary. Perhaps some operational sop to refocus on that..

On 22/7/2026, there was an aunty who taking order. Prior to the order, I told her that I wanted the promo set $9.9. She asked me whether I want the braised pork set. I told her, “No, I wanted the chicken /pork cutlet set.” She then quickly asked her colleague to take over. I was confused of the rude behaviour. I wondered if she understood the word “cutlet”. Then, the Indian worker took over and settled the order precisely. This was over until I heard loud quarrel from the kitchen. The previous aunty who didnt know how to take order properly, argued with the cook, customer wants chicken cutlet but we only have pork chop. She kept on repeating over and over again. It was so loud that it affected the atmosphere of the dining area. Been dining in this place for a few times and quite like this place. But the rude behaviour really pissed me off.

It's a Roadside Toastbox in the local market near the "Sixth Avenue" MRT Station, Accessible on the Blue line MRT. Toastbox taste & experience is same as with most others. Staff is courteous. Space was well maintained though it's a small cozy 12ft x 20ft dining single enclosure with Roadside view (not a busy road). I also tried Chicken Noodles soup which was very good.

I was around Avenue 5, for a Social Business, and didn’t realize there was this little cosy Toast Box. It’s very small but super cosy, and the service is really friendly. I’ll definitely swing by more often after my weekend rides.

After our good breakfast in Sixth Avenue, we walked across the street to have our Yuan Yang at Toast Box. Must say that this small Cafe was neat and cosy (not many seats), comfortable and not noisy as in many other outlets. And…the staff were very polite. I didn’t have to give special instructions of how I would like the Yuan Yang, simply said - no sugar but condensed milk. Final outcome - we had very satisfying cups of Yuan Yang of just enough sweetness and creaminess (enough evaporated milk). Well done and thank you😍.
