A Soul-Satisfying, Textural Zi Char Masterclass! If you are looking for an authentic zi char experience that expertly balances refined execution with unapologetically robust flavor, Forture Seafood delivers a family-style feast that is deeply satisfying. Our recent meal here was an absolute winner, proving that they know exactly how to coax maximum flavor out of a roaring wok. The kitchen here showcases masterful frying techniques, bringing out brilliant textures without leaving things feeling greasy. Red Wine Pork Ribs (The Absolute Star). Look at that gorgeous, deep mahogany lacquer! These ribs are beautifully caramelized, deeply savory, and coated in a rich, glossy glaze that clings perfectly to the meat. Bite into them and you’ll find the pork remarkably tender on the inside. The subtle depth of the red wine marinade gives it a sophisticated, complex flavor profile that completely elevates it above standard sweet-and-sour ribs. Absolutely decadent. The Garlic Chicken is a total showstopper. This isn't just minced garlic over meat; it is a rustic heap of ultra-crispy, golden-brown chicken chunks tossed with entire bulbs of deep-fried garlic that have burst open in the oil. Despite the aggressive frying, the chicken remains incredibly juicy and tender inside. It is intensely fragrant, heavily infused with robust garlic notes, and possesses an addictive, savory crunch. The Deep Fried Eggplant with Chicken Floss was a masterclass in texture. Instead of a standard stir-fry, thick pieces of eggplant are fried to molten perfection—crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and completely free of excess oil. It's buried under a mountain of savory chicken floss and a bird's nest of airy, crispy egg(?) floss. The Baby Kailan Stir Fry is a pristine green companion to cut through the heavier dishes. The kailan is beautifully vibrant, crunchy, and tossed with just enough savory goodness and mild localized wok hei aroma to keep it incredibly lively. The Cai Po Egg (Preserved Radish Omelette is a classic, comforting zi char staple for us. While it's a bit more normal and straightforward compared to the spectacular pork ribs and chicken, it is beautifully browned, fluffy, and a well-executed addition to the table. We were greeted with a warm and welcoming reception by the cashier, Madam Leow, and the food hit our table impressively fast. Our server/head chef(?), the affable Wilson, engaged with us throughout the evening. He proudly shared how fastidiously they prepare each dish, showing a massive amount of passion for their cooking that you can truly taste in every bite. Forture Seafood offer both an outdoor dining space for a classic, breezy al fresco meal in good humid and hot Singapore, as well as a fully indoor, air-conditioned seating area if you want to escape the Singapore heat while enjoying your hot food. Forture Seafood is a fantastic spot for a flavor-packed, satisfying meal with family or friends. Thanks to their spectacular frying technique, passionate team, and standout dishes like the red wine pork ribs and garlic chicken, it effortlessly checks all the boxes for a great zi char dinner. I'll definitely be back for a return visit!

The fish steamboat is really nice, the soup base is very good. We ordered food like the sweet & sour pork, ngoh hiang, fried frog leg & 青龙菜. The fried frog leg is something different as we always have it in claypot, but this is unique and it's nicely fried. The ngoh hiang is a must try dish.

Overall I think this place serves slightly above average zi char standard. I’ve had it many times, the taste is not consistent. Service was fast and convenient for pick up. We would come back for fried rice (chicken / sambal salted egg/ Yangzhou), prawn paste chicken wing, The disappointing dishes were coffee pork rib, where the taste of coffee was a tad too strong whilst for cai po egg, we couldn’t taste cai po, it tasted more like omelett. Rest of the dishes were just average.

We went at around 1pm on Saturday. The air-conditioned seating area was nice, clean and peaceful. Their food was amazing as usual, especially their coffee pork ribs 😋 coffee tastes super rich and have a slight bitter char taste, which I loved. tried their cereal chicken and sambal fried rice before, both good too!
