There’s something wonderfully satisfying about eating foods from the sea – cracking through claw, slurping shell and savouring the freshest catch of the day.

The real star of our visit to Greenwood Fish Market was the 14th World Oyster Festival, celebrating an impressive 25 varieties of oysters from 9 different countries. It was a fantastic opportunity to sample such a diverse selection, with each oyster on the tasting platter offering its own unique flavour, texture and character. Their freshness was simply exceptional, with every oyster tasting wonderfully clean, briny and vibrant. The oysters were served with a classic mignonette of red wine vinegar and eschallots, adding a bright, tangy acidity that beautifully complemented the oysters’ natural brininess without overpowering their delicate flavours. The chargrilled yellowtail was another highlight (fresh, beautifully charred on the outside, and wonderfully moist and tender inside). The smoky flavours from the grill brought out the fish’s natural sweetness perfectly. Overall, a fantastic seafood experience, with the World Oyster Festival making our visit particularly memorable. For oyster lovers, the sheer variety and freshness made this a standout experience.

Love the seafood here. Not the right timing for oysters. Was informed to come in July where there are more than 20 different types of oysters. Was recommended to eat Mahi Mahi and the fish is tender and juicy. Steak is cooked properly too. Overall good experience and Erdie is very helpful and friendly.

Tried the oyster tasting platter which was fresh and juicy but could be better if we get more variety of the oysters. Beside that, we also had the scallop pasta and spanish octopus. What disappoints us was the poor service from a particular crew. They gave us the complimentary bread which was burnt! It was so bitter, that we couldn’t even eat. When we asked if this is supposed to be burnt and we wanted to change it, he simply brushed us off saying its a grilled bread. The whole meal was ruined by his poor attitude from the start. Bad experience overall!

We came here for their oysters tuesdays, and were not disappointed. Their house oysters were 2.5 per pc and were served at the right temperature, huge and briny with a hint of sweetness. They have a selection of wines all very well priced. The crab cake was really delicious albeit a little small on the portion. We got the green lipped mussels and they were huge and fresh - a bit of a pity that they were slightly overcooked and the garlic wine sauce could use a lot more garlic. I especially loved the barramundi fish and chips - the fish was cooked perfectly and moist and flakey and I loved their crispy slightly salty batter- definitely be back for this.

Went there to celebrate a birthday. - The oysters were fantastic! - The sashimi wer thick and delicious! - The hummus was great, but I'm not a fan of the dough fritter that came with it. Doesn't go well. - Pull pork pizza. (If you like pull pork, it's very sweet, lots of cheese, decent pizza base/dough) - Sweet Potato Mash (avoid it. It was sour...we were offered to change it to Truffle Fries. It was really good) Highly recommend if you are here for seafood and the oysters.
