Order set A, the Ngo Hiang is nice, the curry fish head and chap chye are average but the pork knuckle meat is tough

Thks to my friend who recommend this peranakan style eatery. Each of us chose & order per dish. The pork chop was delicious. Thks to the friendly staff who kept refill of our glasses of sky juice 😋

One of my favourite family run restaurant in Singapore! This shop has been around for more than 20 years and the taste and quality has remained unchanged. Eating here always warms my heart and it’s always an enjoyable experience! The curry chicken, ngoh hiang and chap chye are excellent.

Had this since jc more than half my life time ago. Back then they have unlimited rice refill. Now i don't even eat rice. Ordered mix vege, hainaness pork chop and curry chicken with potato. The vege was good but unimpresive. Plus i feel that it is too expensive like why the same price as the meat? Curry is like those home make curry next door. Not the thick kind but somehow it works. It is those that 90s kids tasted it in their childhood thought normal curry should taste this level only to find out later on in life this is one of those more well made curry. Right about of coconut to keep you coming back yet not gela. Chicken were reasonably tender. But breast etc can't be help but still acceptable. I thought pork chop was average, not the most tender but thinly sliced. But it gets to you. Pretty addictive because of the flavorful sweet pork.

On Thursday 18 June 2026, I had curry chicken with potatoes and rice for my lunch from The Curry Wok at Coronation Arcade at Coronation Road in Bukit Timah and it tasted very delicious. Overall, the service provided to me was very good and I would love to try these other dishes from The Curry Wok such as BBQ stingray, curry fish head, sambal sotong, sayur lodeh and chilli prawn from the outlet at Coronation Arcade in Bukit Timah in the future. This restaurant was established in 2004 and has been mainly serving the residents of Bukit Timah for many years.
