Came on a weekend afternoon, it was crowded! Very very limited seats, had to wait Popiah was delicious! The skin was springy and fresh, soft and chewy, filling was adequately packed, not very salty/ watery! Very satisfying but price per roll is slightly high. Would come back to try their noodle dishes!
View on GoogleDespite its limited seating, you must have their Popiah on site to fully appreciate it. The goodness of the popiah lies on the moistness of its ingredients which might turn into sogginess if having it takeaway. The add-on prawns at additional $1.50 to the popiah does elevate the taste though it's good enough without prawns.
View on GoogleTakeaway bc the helpful man at the counter told me I could scan the QR code and order Popiah for myself, laksa for dad & mee siam for mom. Mom said mee siam is probably the best she's tasted in her fifty something life. Both sweet and sour, a bit thick & kind of like her childhood mee siam. Dad said laksa is nice but hm not the best he's tried. Still good though. In my opinion, the popiah is fatter than normal popiah maybe because there aren't as many slices. And it's not as compact as the Chinatown Ann Chin popiah but that's comparing it with the best. Among normal popiah, I would say it's okay¿ but not the best. The interior is so retro and it's an openly religious space which is cool
View on GooglePopiah — a must-order! Very well done. The mee siam was average, and $10 a bowl with prawn is a stretch. Limited seats.
View on GoogleFew tables available. Laksa look nice but taste doesnt match up. Price is high at $7.5 without any prawns. Only had tau pok, fish cake and 1 whole egg. Come early during lunch as it can be quite packed.
