Our new favorite Italian restaurant, despite having eaten at other, more famous Italian places. Steak was perfect, juicy yet full of smoky flavor - also beats the flavor of many other supposedly good steak restaurants in SG. Lasagna was full and creamy, with the right amount of tartness and salt. Tiramisu was excellent, generous with the cocoa powder and cream layers. Can't wait to be back with more friends and family to try other things on the menu. Kudos to the chef.
View on GoogleHad a lovely dinner at Caruso and every dish we ordered was delicious. The standout for me was the pasta : rich, comforting, and packed with flavour. The seafood pasta was fresh and generously portioned, and the creamy mushroom pasta was indulgent without being too heavy. We also enjoyed the burrata salad, which was fresh and perfectly balanced, and ended the meal with a tiramisu that was light and creamy The portions were great for sharing, the atmosphere was cosy, and the service was warm and attentive. Overall, a wonderful spot for a relaxed authentic Italian meal
View on GoogleHomemade pastas were amazing. Pictures don't do it justice, looks fairly simple but the flavours where sublime Was there for lunch and ordered a 2 course set lunch with a salad and mussels pasta. The salad serving size was HUGE (could be shared by 2-3) and the flavour was complex. Something about the bacon tasted unique and delicious The pasta was perfectly seasoned with a flavourful seafood sauce. My friends ordered the non-set pastas which were both homemade. Some pasta types I've never seen before! Would come here again just to explore their huge menu. Food is delicious Edit: visited again and enjoyed more dishes and desserts. Scoglio pasta was top notch
View on GoogleSkip the sides and go straight for the pizza, pasta and tiramisu!! The handmade pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and paired beautifully with the lamb ragù. The gorgonzola pizza was rich and creamy, yet somehow still felt surprisingly light — and the crust hit that perfect balance of chewy, crisp, and savoury. The tiramisu was excellent too: the mascarpone was soft and creamy without feeling too heavy, and the ladyfingers had a great balance of sweetness with that slightly bitter coffee kick. And for the record, the sides weren’t bad - they just didn’t blow me away like the mains and dessert haha. I’ll definitely be revisiting to explore the other items on their menu!
View on GoogleHere’s the branzino/grilled sea bass. This was nice, service was good, the chef comes from Vespetta which closed. We came here for my dad’s 80th birthday, prices are quite expensive but it was overall enjoyable. My brothers got the Gnocchi which was really good too, the wine is good as well, they also got the calamari and apple pie and soup which they seemed to like.
