From queue to table it took around 20min. You queue to order then you take a order number waited for noodle. Roughly equal time of 10min. Ordered dry ban mian, plus white fish and plus egg. Total $7. Noodle: average Soup: good Minced meat: good Fish: poor Egg: poor Amount for money: average Noodle was not well cooked, not al dente doesn't have that bite or springiness. Taste wise it was good spicy and got that kick so it average out. Soup was good, sweet can pair with noodle or just eat the noodle by itself. Mince meat was savory, quite a large chunk tbh so not exactly minced. Fish was poor, quite little with okay texture. Likewise I thought it will be a half boiled egg to stir it in but it was fully cooked. Amount wise quite a lot of ban mian fish wise not a lot so for $7 while is big the fish is really not alot

My Go-To place for a satisfying bowl of minced pork, mushroom prawn yu mian. Their secret lies in their extremely spicy chilli paste & black sauce. Solid bowl of MHK, I love the comforting soup, especially with that extra kick after adding the sambal chilli. The sambal is an additional $0.30, but it’s absolutely worth it. My grandma used to make this chilli at home, and I know how labour-intensive and tedious it is, which makes me appreciate it even more. The white fish is fresh, and I love how thoughtful they are in removing the skin for you. Cash payment only, and there’s usually a queue but definitely worth the wait.

Went on a Sunday afternoon at around 3 plus and they are nearly sold out. Good thing is that you do not have to queue for long as there’s only 2 person before me. Ordered the Clams cintan mee, overall it’s nice however I find the soup abit too sweet and disappointed that there’s no egg. Paid 30 cents more for the homemade chilli and it added flavour to the dish.

My first time trying 一级棒好吃面粉粿, as the queue is usually snake-long whenever I visit. Today, around 2pm, the queue was shorter but still present. I ordered the dry U-mee with fish. The noodles were springy, and the dark sauce really enhanced the overall flavour. The soup on the side was thick and tasty, which I enjoyed. The regular portion costs $6.50, but I found it a little small so if you’re very hungry, you’ll probably need to add extra noodles. Overall, a decent bowl and worth a try. I’ll be back to sample their other flavours.
