Brown rice lei cha. Clean taste, not too salty, mellow balanced flavours. Tea broth is mild, could be stronger. Fresh veggies, generous portion. A bit pricey but supports good health so it's worth the price.

The vegetarian Thunder Tea sits with a calm, understated elegance. The pale green tea broth is smooth and velvety, almost jade-like, its surface serene and inviting—light yet deeply nourishing, promising freshness before a sip is even taken. It feels cleansing just to look at. Beside it, the bowl is a celebration of texture and care. Finely chopped greens form a soft, leafy base, topped with golden tofu cubes that look gently crisp on the edges. Crushed peanuts scatter across the surface like warm, earthy notes, while sesame seeds add a subtle sparkle. Dark beans, preserved vegetables, and fresh herbs are neatly arranged, each ingredient clearly respected rather than mixed into anonymity. It’s rustic, honest, and thoughtfully balanced. Together, the meal feels wholesome and grounding—comfort food without heaviness, nourishment without excess. Lovely not because it shouts, but because it whispers calm, health, and quiet satisfaction. #YummyForMyTummy #Vegetarian #Vegan #NoOnion #NoGarlic #NoAlliums

At $7.30, I would not say it is value for money. Quantity is a little too little, especially the tea. I like my thunder tea soak in tea but this stall gave so little it can hardly drench half the rice. Taste-wise, it was ok. I still prefer the Margaret Drive one.

So yummy and wholesome. A bit pricey but worth it. Balanced flavours with generous portions of veggie and taukwa, complete with beans (more protein!) and crunchy peanuts~ requested for thunder tea paste since this was a takeaway, and I added my own water to it. On the saltier side, though I guess this is common, so I added more water to balance out the taste a bit. Still very tasty though. Will be back to try the beehoon :-D

Food taste ok but 7.30, check out my photos. I didn't expect so little rice. I definitely need 2 portions, so now I need to go out and eat another portion for lunch. This is too expensive for a hawker center takeaway! The sauce also very little as in picture. I asked for abit more she said it is very thick but it is very watery. And she asked for 2.20 but I did not go for it. Lousy way to do business for sure
