I ordered the promotional Bak Kut Teh set, which came with rice and a lemon drink for $9.70. The Bak Kut Teh had a predominantly peppery flavour, but the soup was only lukewarm rather than piping hot. The pork was also not as tender as expected and required more chewing. Overall, the meal was average and did not stand out in terms of taste or quality. While the set offers reasonable value for the price, there was nothing particularly memorable that would make me want to order it again.
View on GoogleFree peanut + ikanbilis appetizer. Affordable bakuteh (2 piece) sorry was too hungry and only remembered to take the photo of the BKT bowl after finishing one of the ribs. 油条 youtiao, was just so so. Was skeptical about the bkt as i see it being very small in the menu photo outside the shop. But luckily the taste was alright. Refillable soup.
View on GoogleWarning: do not waste your time, money, and meal. Very lousy restaurant. Worst prawn noodles ever encountered. Curry was salty and unappetising. Service was brash. Waitress threw the food down on the table unwillingly. Would give zero stars if I could. Current Google rating of 3.9 stars is far too high for them. Never coming back.
View on GoogleI was pleasantly surprised by how good this place was! The pepper bak kut teh was delicious—the meat was incredibly tender, and the soup was rich, flavourful, and very satisfying. The youtiao was perfectly crispy, and the suan cai had just the right balance of sourness. Our food arrived almost immediately after ordering, and the value was excellent. We paid only $23 for a generous portion of bak kut teh, rice, youtiao, and two drinks, which is very affordable. A huge plus is that they’re open until 12 a.m., making it one of the best late-night bak kut teh spots in the West. Will definitely be back!
View on Googledont even deserve 1star. extremely rude n bad service. 1 chinese waitress threw the utensils n plate when seated. and while i was waiting for my food, suddenly a table slammed onto my elbow when the same waitress rearrange the empty tables, no apology. sharp pain and also stained my shirt. later was forced to make payment when eating halfway, barely started in fact. left after paying without finishing my food. wasnt even expecting whatever good service, but at least have basic manners and basic service standard. retrain or replace them 26/06/26 23:05
