Visited Beauty World Food Centre on a Saturday morning around 10am and it was already pretty crowded, so definitely expect a bit of a queue for the more popular stalls. There’s a decent variety of food on the top floor, from noodles to local breakfast options, and it has that old-school hawker centre charm. We tried the breakfast set here - a little pricey at $5.40 per set, but the coffee was really fragrant and enjoyable. We also had the kolo mee from Lao Gai Mee, which I really liked - springy noodles, fragrant minced meat, char siew, and a simple, comforting bowl that really hit the spot. The dry ban mian from Top 1 Handmade Noodles was also worth trying, especially if you enjoy handmade noodles with a heartier bite. Seats can be a little hard to find during peak hours, but turnover is quite fast. Also, I was pleasantly surprised when I visited their newly renovated washrooms - definitely a huge plus to our dining experience :) Overall, a nice spot to drop by if you’re in the Beauty World area and craving affordable local grub.
View on GoogleBeauty World Food Centre is one of Singapore’s more unique hawker centres, located on the 4th floor of a shopping complex rather than in a standalone building. The combination of a traditional hawker centre atmosphere within a shopping mall gives it a distinctive character that sets it apart from many other food centres across the island The food centre is home to a wide variety of stalls, including several long-standing favourites that attract regulars from all over Singapore. Whether you’re looking for local hawker classics, snacks, desserts, or international flavours, there is plenty to explore. Part of the fun is wandering around and discovering hidden gems among the many stalls
View on GoogleLots of good food. Weekend breakfast and brunch can be busy with folks coming in after the morning hike at the nearby Bukit Timah Hill.
View on GoogleThe food centre seems reinvigorated by its failed enbloc attempts few years ago and given a lease of life by the numerous new(and young) stalls entries while retaining most of its popular ones. It is now my no.1 go to place for Wanton Noodle, Chicken Wings, Kolo Mee, Hokkien Mee, Ramen(Yes, ramen!), and adding..........
View on GoogleI am a regular visitor to this food centre that is on the fourth level of Beauty World Centre. While the levels at Beauty World Centre below this fourth level is air-conditioned, the food court here is not, but that has not discouraged diners from coming here as there are many good food stalls here - some of which have been here for a very long time and some of which are IMO quickly replaced by others - so in a way, this food court does get "refreshed" from time to time. My favourite food stalls here are - in no particular order - the "tao suan" stall, the fried prawn noodles stall, the rojak stall, the Sarawak noodle stall, one of the Korean stalls, the "xiao long bao" stall, and the "Kopifellas" stall - see photos herein. That said, there are other food stalls here that are very popular with other diners. Coming here to this food court is really convenient as it is virtually at one of the exits of Beauty World MRT Station.
