The two aunties at the stall were really friendly, and could tell they had pride in the bowl of porridge they serve. It was creamy and tasty, and the added watercress is a really nice touch. I had the mix pork + egg + century egg + watercress for $9. While steeper than usual, I think it’s well worth the time and effort put into cooking it. But alas, I had a shocker to find a friend in my bowl - an ingredient I didn’t ask to add. And it was huge and fat. Just was a huge put off for me I had to rate this 2 stars.

Love their Cantonese style porridge with the various ingredients like fish, watercress vegs, century eggs porridge and minced pork! They also have the option of adding eggs inside the porridge. They ensure their ingredients are fresh daily and cooked in the morning! One of the reason whey they're not open on Mondays - no pork. Condiments like chilli, soya sauce, pepper available too! Come and check them out, Come before 10am!

A well-made Cantonese porridge which allows diners to customise their bowl with a variety of ingredients, including fresh fish, minced pork, watercress, egg, and century egg. The porridge itself is smooth and flavorful. What stands out even more is the freshness of the ingredients, which the friendly senior owner sources daily from the Chinatown market. Definitely an awesome breakfast to start the day.

This is the popular Xian Ji Porridge that was inside the coffeeshop across Tiong Bahru Bakery along Eng Hoon Street. Now it’s here still serving good old Cantonese porridge. So if you’re looking for it, now inside a coffeeshop at Blk 107 Jalan Bukit Merah. It has been relocated to 107 Coffeeshop at Blk 107 Jalan Bukit Merah. So if you’re looking for this really good porridge place go there. I love the thick fish slices, watercress and minced meat balls. Of course the smooth and creamy porridge.
