Always been wanting to try from this stall, and today is the day! Reached at 8.15am and queued for an average of 7 mins! Queue here is almost non-stop, clears fast, and located above Tiong Bahru Market. The soy pudding (tau fu fah) here is soft, the texture is kinda like silken tofu and very beautiful, almost the same texture as the ones I had in Ipoh. The warm soy milk is full bodied, has a refined aftertaste and not diluted. A really delicious way to start the morning! The uncle, auntie and his daughter all very nice working non-stop to serve up orders so please try to be clear and be nice when ordering your items! ☀️
View on GoogleA big cup of soya bean milk for only $1.20, the milk was rich with a strong soya bean flavour. There’s a slight sweetness to the drink and you can change the amount of sugar when ordering which I appreciated. A really nice drink to have on a hot day, super refreshing and really affordable! The queue moves pretty fast and they sometimes sell out of items like the beancurd before closing time.
View on GoogleI’ve come here multiple times and everytime it’s been great. I’ve gotten the Soy Bean multiple times for $1.20. Unique thing about this place is after all these years they haven’t changed prices. The stall is located on the 2nd floor of Tiong Bahru Market. They’ve got a handful of solid options which you can get warm/hot or cold.
View on GoogleBy far one of the smoothest soya bean milk I have tried! It doesn’t leave the “tacky” aftertaste in your mouth or throat. Always ordered a few to bring home! Never fail and will probably sold out by noon. The stall owners also very friendly and nice! The queue moves very fast too!
View on GoogleWas recommended this store by a friend, tried it at least twice (once a few years back and once recently) before giving a review to ensure fairness. The soy milk came extremely diluted both times (came around late morning, around 10.30am). I can indeed detect the essence of soybeans in it, but the texture is watery and tastes of factory-produced ice. I wanted to give it another chance, requesting to purchase a cup of undiluted soy milk to make my judgement but was met with terrible service. They said that soy milk that has not been mixed with cold water is not possible to order, which shows that they are willing to compromise on quality in order to sell more cups. Following on, the daughter even badmouths customers to her parents openly. Probably arrogant because business is doing well I guess.
