With an abundance of hip cafes, indie boutiques and iconic wall murals, it’s no wonder that Tiong Bahru is a favourite haunt of many local artists, creatives and culture lovers. It is also home to Privé’s first foray into a residential neighbourhood.

Pricey for no reason. One dish of pasta with chicken for $30. 🤷🏻‍♀️ The food is clean but the taste is not too strong enough for Asian. Good that they serves drinking water as complimentary. Luckily no fishy smell in water. The tables are too close to each other. Not enough space to sit it/get out. There are many table available during the time I visited but the staff escorted other customers to sit close to my table, both side. Can hear the loud conversation from other customers nearby. Don’t feel having much privacy as the restaurant name. The restaurant has air con but it was still warm due to partially open air. Not recommend to have meal during afternoon. Very warm inside.

Food was average. Steak was the most unworthy of the $ spent. Asked for medium and I got well done . 😵‍💫 Pasta with pork belly was something you can easily make at home. I’d rather they make a decent carbonara than that plate of pasta with pork belly. Salad hardly had enough vinaigrette dressing .

The food is OK lah. The Egg Benedict was nice. The Nasi Goreng was so-so. Not worth the price in my opinion. But the service and ambiance were there :) So kinda make up to it. If you're visiting mainly for the food, your money will be well spent elsewhere. But if you find a place to chit chat, meeting, or similar, then it's a good choice. The place relatively quiet, you can talk and not feel overwhelmed by noise, yet you can't hear what others are talking. Good balance.

pleasant experience and superb service and prive tiong bahru - food were served prompty and the bowl was absolutely filling topped generously with ingredients. fries were well-done. we had a birthday celebration and requested a candle to go with the cake, little did we expect the staff went far and beyond in hospitality to help us take a polaroid and attached it to a card signed off by all their staff! it was indeed a pleasant surprise, would return again to try more from their menu.
