Have not had Cheng's chiffon cake in quite a while. Tried it again today and I’m so happy to say it’s still as good as I remember. The cake is wonderfully soft, light and fluffy, with that delicate texture that melts in your mouth. It’s fragrant, not overly sweet, and just incredibly comforting to eat. Some things change over time, but it’s really nice when a place manages to keep the same quality and flavour all these years. Cheng’s has always had a special place for those who appreciate a good traditional chiffon cake made with high quality ingredients. Truly delicious and definitely worth coming back for. 🍰

Their pastries are Super delicious! A must try that I would recommend would be their Pandan cake which is the moist texture. I definitely recommend buying from them as their choice of ingredients and baking method are very to healthy! I will definitely be back for more!

The gula melaka chiffon was super soft and literally melt into the mouth. The sweetness is just right. Great for parties and get together. Yumz!

The dining experience at Soi 47 somewhat reminded me of Bangkok. The food and the vibe exudes Thai atmosphere. They were really shorthanded on the night we visited, however the service staff was friendly and service was pretty prompt. The prices are really affordable. Would highly recommend the prawn glass noodles and red ruby. Hubs commented that the green curry was good. You can definitely give the crab omelette a miss. Doesn't really add on to the dining experience. Would definitely be back to try more food on the menu.

Have been patronizing this restaurant a few times, comfort home cooked food. Tried new dishes like these Assam pig trotters. Something different an taste like mild curry. Found the samba prawns highlight off the day!
