Just love coming here for tonkatsu. The inside is juicy and the coating is light crispy. I like the spicy dipping sauce. Refillables~Cooked when ordered multi grain rice, shredded cabbage and tasty chunks of vegetable & meat bites tonjiru soup. Hot/cold tea when seated and a jelly at the end completes the meal. Recommend to try. Make sure you sign up as a member!
View on GoogleFood quality is consistent with what you’d expect across all branches, reliable and satisfying. Though on this visit, I did find my tonkatsu a little more greasy than usual. A first for me, a “Ladies’ Night” promotion in an F&B joint on Wednesdays, which adds a nice, unexpected touch. What stood out most, though, was the service. The staff engage customers warmly, almost like catching up with old friends, creating a welcoming and personable dining experience.
View on GoogleThe pork chop is pretty thick and fresh. Goes well with the sour or spicy sauce. Rice is multi grain and comes in a fancy rice holder. Had my 2nd visit and I ordered the curry chicken. It complements the meat better than the sauce. And I like it. Food is pretty pricey though but overall experience is okay.
View on GoogleWe visited Ma Maison, Tiong Bahru branch yesterday (27 Feb 2026) at 6:30pm and had a wonderful experience. The environment is clean, cozy and welcoming, and the food was excellent. The staff were very approachable and friendly, which made the dining experience even better. Didn't manage to take the katsu photo cos we ate haha. This branch really maintains a high standard. Strongly recommend it to anyone who enjoys pork chop, this branch definitely worth visiting! 😄
View on GoogleWe ordered the rosu katsu set and had lunch here to celebrate my work anniversary with my colleague. I was very impressed by how tender the meat was. The unlimited cabbage and rice were definitely a big plus. I can compare this to Yabu in the Philippines — the taste is quite similar, but the soup is different. Yabu offers miso soup, while here they serve tonjiru, which is also nice. They also offered us a free jelly. I really like this place because it’s very quiet, spacious, and the staff are attentive. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back.
