Another good place to get your prata fixed. Above average than other prata stalls in Singapore. Made on the spot upon order. Comes w mutton fats if U request for it. Muslim Owned. weekend will be long queue. so come early or join the queue. Their chicken biryani which is delicious too starts after 11am. Look at the picture of the stall before U order your pratas. just to be sure U come to the right stall

This Food Centre will be moved to next door when the new BTO is ready (not sure when). Hopefully most of the stores will relocate to the new premise. Many nice food and hawkers know their customers like old friend.

A nice hawker centre with a mix of old-school charm & evolving surroundings. Great eats like roasted duck & char siew noodles, fried carrot cake, prawn & fishball noodles, nasi padang & appom. Affordable, authentic & full of heart. Next to it is the old wet market & older flats with new developments like Telok Blangah Towers & the under-construction Beacon rising around it. Some stalls have irregular operating hours & like most heartland markets, it’s most lively in the morning. By evening, it winds down & becomes quiet - though a mee goreng and drinks stalls are still opened. About 10 mins walk south to Telok Blangah MRT station.
