Already had brunch, but we happened to sit in front of Kung Fu Western and got curious after seeing their interesting menu. The classic British Fish & Chips caught our attention, and we also overheard the stall helper enthusiastically introducing the menu to patrons — “it depends on how hungry you are!” 😄 That got us! We ordered a plate of fries, and wow… the portion was HUGE! 🍟 Definitely worth coming back to try their other dishes. Plenty of choices on the menu too. Will be back! 👍
View on GoogleThis is an older market that I always enjoyed returning. Many delicious food choices. Any food one wants in a hawker centre, this one has it all. Which one is nice? Look at the queues! Don't forget to walk around the shops near it.
View on GoogleWide variety of good food. Can be quite crowded during lunch peak period and difficult to get a table. Had the best Satay Bee Hoon here. This SBH stall has a Michillin Bib Goumant. There is also an unusual Chee Chong Fun stall there that uses traditional stone milled rice flour to make the rice sheets. I ordered the Char Siew Chee Cheong fun. It was not the usual Chee Cheong Fun. It was very tasty and has lots of ingredients in it like, vegetables, minced pork meat, preserved radish besides the Char Siew. To top it off, they added an egg on top of the rice sheets. Well worth the $5.50. Very filling. It also comes with a different CCF sauce. This once has a thicker sauce with oyster sauce and soy sauce. It is accompanied with sambal chillie and a potent homemade chillie. Well worth a try when you are at Redhill Food Centre
View on GoogleStarted coming here more often vs Tiong Bahru Mkt becos the latter is getting more and more hip estate = more expensive. This Redhill Mkt offers alot of good food under 1 roof. And the best part is… the food portion vs the price is still considered value for money. Some of the famous stalls are - Roast Meat (facing road) - Corner boiled soup (facing road) - Fu Ming Carrot Cake - Teochew Porridge stall in the middle - Fried Chicken Wings/ Bee Hoon
View on Google$4 for this carrot cake from the stall in middle row. The portion is value for money compared to telok blangah crescent hawker that carrot cake(his one $4 is just 3/4 of the small plate).
