Tucked in a cozy cafe in the heartlands of Redhill, Cafe Fufu is a place I keep coming back to for food that is consistently comforting and delicious. I first visited when I heard that they accepted CDC vouchers, and was very pleasantly surprised at how amazing their dishes are. I’ve recommended their Salmon Pasta so many times to multiple friends and everyone has agreed that this is the stand out dish. I’ve never really had anything else that tastes quite like it. The pasta to cream ratio that is good, the salmon flavour is deeply infused into the cream itself, topped with a lovely amount of salmon meat and capers to give a nice umami flavour, with fresh cherry tomatoes to balance out the dish as well as a slice of lemon to cut through the flavours and add a citrusy kick. I’ve had their other dishes as well, like their pizzas and the Crabmeat Pasta, but honestly I only ever regularly visit this place for the Salmon Cream Pasta to the point where I used up most of my CDC vouchers here. But even with the actual pricepoint, what you pay for is incredibly worth it, and some pastas at the same price range at other places don’t even come close. They recently shifted from store-bought pasta to handmade pasta and that levelled up the dish so much more. Other stand out dishes are their DIY Tiramisu, which although I thought was a little gimmicky at first, was actually just a really good and susbtantial bowl of tiramisu. Their Angry Winds are so yummy, its my favourite sude dish, and their mocktails are really great too! The service is extremely pleasant, and the staff is incredibly attentive. However, since the space of the establishment itself is a little small, I’d recommend coming during off-peak periods for walk-ins (its usually quite peaceful and not very busy) or booking a reservation in advance if you’re coming on the weekends. Overall, a lovely cafe that makes the trip from the west of Singapore to Redhill a very worthwhile-one.
View on GoogleSuperb sourdough pizza and latte was great. I can totally see and understand the appeal and crowd. It’s a great spot to grab quality pizza and the vibes are really chill and comfortable. Great place to visit!
View on GoogleIt is a cafe with limited access to aircon space, but have some fresh air is still good. The pizzas are crispy, juicy and flavory. Hochicha latte is quite special and nice. It does not have sugar at default.
View on GoogleI had the set lunch comprising carbonara and panna cotta. Shout out to the chef who took the effort to speak to me personally when I had questions about the doneness of the egg yolk (I’m pregnant). I really appreciate that he made sure the dish was pregnancy-safe for me, and even asked if the dish tasted ok when I was eating. I felt so cared for! Thank you Chef. Carbonara was really good. The sauce was fragrant from the cheese, egg yolk and pancetta. Panna cotta was also fantastic as usual.
View on GoogleWaiter was friendly and we requested for the pizza fufu to have half of the toppings without tiger prawn which they kindly did for us :) baked cauliflower did not taste as heavy as it looks with the all the cheese and can do with a little more flavour, the pastas were fine and we went with tagliatelle and mafaldine for the salmon pasta and pesto. Not too far from Redhill MRT so if you're around the area give it a try!
