Tonkatsu Enbiton (宴美豚) — VivoCity Tucked inside VivoCity, Tonkatsu Enbiton makes a pretty bold claim — Hokkaido pork. And honestly? The food delivers. We ordered the Classic Rosu Katsu and Classic Hire Katsu sets, and both were impressive. The panko crust was golden and satisfyingly crunchy, but the real star was what’s underneath — tender, juicy, and succulent pork that actually had flavour on its own without needing to drown it in sauce. The Hire (fillet) was leaner and delicate, while the Rosu (loin) had that extra bit of richness from the fat. Hard to pick a favourite between the two. What really won me over was the DIY sesame grinding setup. You get whole toasted sesame seeds, a ridged mortar bowl, and a wooden pestle — grind it yourself to mix into the tonkatsu sauce. Sounds gimmicky but it’s genuinely fun, and you control exactly how coarse or fine you want it. Each set comes with miso soup, a teriyaki pork rice bowl, and shredded cabbage — and rice, soup, and pickles are all refillable. A nice touch that softens the blow of the $30+ price tag. The one thing that really let the experience down though? The service. We were ignored pretty much the entire time — not exactly what you’d expect when you’re paying a premium price. The food is good enough to come back for, but the staff really need to step it up.
View on GoogleIt's a nice place to have lunch and they do allow you to sit around for long hours - I was there for 3 hours during lunch time on a weekday. This was the Classic Rosu Katsu Red Tonkotsu Ramen. There was at least 6 to 7 pcs of the meat, but I felt that the ramen portion was a little small. Broth was not too bad, but can have more spring onion and corn. I'm someone who doesn't like miso, the miso paste that's already in the soup is alright, taste is not too strong. If I'm not wrong this is $24++, but online seems to say this is $27++. Will go back again.

View on GoogleWe ordered two meals today The Rosu Tonkatsu all the taste from the meat, sauce and the soup overall is good Except the Gyukatsu Mizayaki i think is around 6 out of 10 The Atmosphere was nice for having lunch and dinner
View on GoogleThe broth is nice, thick, the noodle is nicely cooked and the pork slices is nice but the katsu is a bit too dry and maybe overcooked, not my favorite. The high ball i think is a bit thin. However we ordered the tea, it taste really good and we have a few cups.
