From the moment we walked into Sushi Tei at VivoCity, we were impressed by how spacious and welcoming the restaurant felt — a rare treat in the mall dining scene. The dining area is bright, well-laid-out, and comfortable; there’s plenty of room between tables so conversation feels private and relaxed, and the overall layout never felt crowded even during a busy weekend lunch. We tried the ramen and it was outstanding. The broth was deeply flavorful and well-balanced, with a rich, comforting aroma that immediately set the tone. Noodles had a great texture — springy and cooked just right — and the toppings were fresh and thoughtfully arranged. Each spoonful delivered a satisfying combination of taste and warmth, and you could tell the kitchen pays attention to quality and consistency. Service was friendly and efficient without being intrusive. Our server checked in at the right moments, and dishes arrived promptly. The restaurant is clean and nicely maintained, and the vibey yet calm atmosphere made it perfect for everything from a quick solo meal to a relaxed family dinner. If you’re at VivoCity and craving ramen (or just want a spacious, pleasant spot to dine), Sushi Tei is an excellent choice. Highly recommend — five stars!

Located on level 2 of the mall. We were told to wait 30 mins to get a seat. Thankfully, within 15 mins, we were allowed to enter. However, we found it puzzling that we had to wait. And why was there a waiting queue to enter , when there were a lot of empty tables. Whatever was the reason, I did not think it justifiable for the customers to be waiting outside when there were empty tables. Wide variety of food to choose from. And the food was served promptly. The prices were reasonable. Food was not bad. Overall experience was still alright.

Poor experience today at Sushi Tei Vivo. Out of our 3 main dishes orders, 2 dishes that came to our table were totally wrong and the 3rd one was a disaster. I’ll just talk about the 3rd dish. The food did not come for more than half an hour, so long that a staff had attempted to keep my utensils, till I told her that I am waiting for my food. Asked another staff to check in my food and apparently my food had went somewhere else, so they will prepare for me again. When it finally came and half way through my meal, I found a sticker in the food that looks like a label / price tag. Restaurant decided to compensate with 10% off bill and an ice cream due to the sticker in food incident. The place was in a mess today, perhaps the kitchen had problem coping with the crowd.

Absolutely delicious pork dish. The meat was tender, flavorful, and perfectly coated in a rich savory sauce. The soft egg on top added a creamy texture that made every bite even better. Portion was generous and satisfying.

Curry pasta was very good, pasta was cooked well and the curry was flavourful. Tochigi wagyu don was up to expectations - wagyu was melt in your mouth. Drinks were good and refreshing. Paid $75.78 for all. 1. Long queue but restaurant had cordoned off many seats. 2. Kappa breeze took very long to come.
