The char siu noodles were quite good and tasty. Even the smallest portion was a bit too much for me. However, it was slightly oily. The wontons were also good. What I didn’t like was the staff’s attitude when they tried to upsell me to a larger portion and additional vegetables, and seemed unhappy when I declined.

I ordered a medium roast pork with rice. It tasted okay, nothing great, just average, the meat needed more seasoning. The portion was smaller than expected and the staff accidentally charged me double so gave me a partial refund.

Although the quality of the meat is good, the duck and chicken were very lean, which is not to my liking. I also didn’t appreciate that about half of the chicken skin had been removed.

I had a rather disappointing experience at this restaurant. I intended to order just a single dish, but the server kept aggressively pushing for more expensive items and larger portions. The way they spoke felt less like a genuine recommendation and more like an attempt to mislead me into spending more. As a result, the final bill was much higher than expected. It made the entire dining experience very uncomfortable. I highly recommend future customers stay firm with their orders when dining here.

char siew and siew yok are both tasty and succulent. latter adds textural contrast with crispy and crackly exterior. good eating, but expensive, so questionable value for.
