There’s almost always a queue here, especially during meal times. When I visited today, most customers were opting for takeaway rather than dining in. I ordered the Trio Popiah Set to give it a try. For the price, the portion was quite generous, and the set was enough for two people to share comfortably. I couldn’t quite understand the hype around the popiah, as it tasted fairly ordinary. The popiah itself had a little too much sweet black sauce, making it sweeter than I would have liked. That said, the other items in the set were enjoyable. The chee cheong fun was smooth and soft, the yam cake had a nice firm texture without being overly dense or gelat, and the siew mai was a pleasant addition as the only meat item in the set. Overall, while I wasn’t impressed by the signature popiah, the accompanying items made the set worth trying.
View on GoogleA spacious & modern food hall with a wide variety of local & Asian cuisines. There are plenty of seats for families, groups & solo diners. The bright, air-conditioned dining area is clean & comfortable, with colourful murals. Enjoy 10% discount when paying using the FairPrice app.
View on GoogleA solid B2 food court with an impressive variety of local eats. The Riverside Indonesian BBQ and fishball noodles are standouts. Finding a seat during peak hours is a chaotic scramble, and it gets loud, but prices are reasonable for a prime mall spot.
View on GoogleIt’s the biggest Kopitiam I have ever come across. Plenty of seats available and comfortable air-conditioning environment. Has so many stalls I would be spoilt for choices if I am truly hungry but too bad I was only there for the iced dessert.
View on GoogleI've visited this Food Hall several times over the years and I keep coming back! 😁 There's a wide selection of food and drink stalls, including those that cater for specific tastes or cultures (vegetarian, fish, halal). I've yet to have a bad meal here, and you can generally find good value. The thing that ironically is my main criticism, is that its so busy, especially during peak times, that you struggle to find a table. And the fact that there is always someone immediately ready to take a vacated table seems to translate into the tables not getting cleaned that frequently. The tray return staff do a good job receiving and clearly trays that are brought back, but i feel the place could benefit from a more proactive cleaner or two.
