Not as crowded on a Friday night. Ordered Shio Kaisen Raman and Pork Katsu Hokkaido White curry. The ramen doesn’t look like the one shown on the menu. The seafood tasted ok, but the noodle was too mushy and no texture. It’s NOT ramen at all!! Very disappointing! The Pork Katsu was ok, but the potato and carrot in the white curry not as soft as expected. The potato is tasteless too.
View on GoogleIt’s a casual dinning joint that specializes in meals from you guessed it, Hokkaido. Special mention to the Butter miso ramen & white curry. Order from the 2 available self order kiosk. Sits about 25 tables. Self service and self return required. Fairly comfortable place to dine.
View on GoogleCant comment much about the service as everything is self service, would be good if they provide self serve plain water. Food is nice, karaage is crispy and the white curry is creamy and flavourful. Rice is cooked nicely as well. Just that we waited for about 15-20min even though the restaurant wasn’t very packed. Overall value for money as it’s not too expensive considering the location. We spent only $20+ for 2 person.
View on GoogleTasty Japanese food. The rice bowls add more flavours and sauces than traditional Japanese food. Makes it very tasty (also a little heavier in mouth feel and on the stomach). Fried chicken was great. Nice and crunchy with the ginger soy flavour coming through. Nice decor and self service was easy and smooth
View on GoogleGot their Ramen Buddy set ($29.80). About $15 per person, since set is for 2 pax. Decent price point meal, considering location. Tonkotsu Pork Ramen does not have the most flavourful broth, however still finished it. Would be good if able to add more flavour to it, the pork itself is flavourful and relatively tender. Noodles were slightly clumpy. Can’t comment much about service as ordered through self service kiosk and collect food from counter. Overall staff are attentive to customer orders and needs (e.g seating/ table arrangement etc). If given the opportunity again, would like to try other items next time and see how.
