The food there was fantastic when compared to its price, especially for Chong Qing Spicy chicken and charcoal master rosted duck and pork. The vibe of this place cannot be no further than a real singaporean hawker of locals.

Ordered the western food today - some wait time is needed but it's reasonable as it's lunch time, about 15 mins. It's evident that the stall is popular as the queues are non-stop. Fish and Chips was delicious! Portion size is generous - can feed 2 pax even 😁 Edit: The Chicken Cutlet is a must-try item! Very tender and fragrant - seasoning goes well with the chicken.

The food selection is good. My faves are the Chao Yuan Noodles, the prawn noodles and the chicken cutlet rice from the western food stall. The kueh from the Malay food stall is pretty good too. I’d give this kopitiam a higher rating except that the stall selling drinks & coffee is the S..L..O..W..E..S..T when it comes to service. There’s always a long queue not because the drinks are good but they make you wait because service is slow. They should be grateful they are the only place around here for cheap coffee. Update (19 May 2023) The situation to get coffee has not changed… it’s still S…L…O…W

Expensive location but local foods are tasty and big portions in affordable prices. Open air style.

An otherwise nice place in an estate near beautiful houses across the road if not for rude attitude at FISH SOUP stall The fish soup stall employee (not boss I hope) was really rude! She snapped at me, asking “you can’t count is it” when I asked if the total is $11.50. It wasn’t. It was $12 because I had overlooked that rice costs additional $0.50. While she could have said a few words like no, $12, she really went out of the way to encourage people to not patronize again by responding with “you can’t count is it. How is $7 +5 $11.50” Before this, she already did seem quite uninterested in doing business but as I type this, I realised she really did go out of way to make sure it is so it seems.
