Great food. Omakase style of Teochew restaurant. No menu, just come in and ask the boss what is fresh and good. The kway teow, orh ni, oyster omelette and steamed pomfret was especially good. Food takes a bit of time to cook, but when it’s your turn for the food the your dishes all come out quick

Nestled in an old neighbourhood near beo crescent mkt, good place to go to if you are looking for old school teochew cuisine. Food is fresh and easy on your wallet. Ample parking in the MSCP nearby. My rating is based on the overall experience, for eg, was feeling quite stuffy, can't feel the aircon at all . I believe the service also could be improved, will prefer to be presented with a menu, food recommendations and especially advanced information on ordering the popular dessert as we were told it will take 30 mins to prep (when we finished our meal that is). In my opinion if they go for the upsell they could easily make 50% or more, is a win win cos as a 1st time diner I will certainly be curious to try out their specialities. therefore its a shame in this department. Also If they improve the looks n comfort, they will certainly improve the books. I'm not sure I will be back but if I happen to and find better value I will review this rating again.
