We ordered the 2 person portion ($16) and waited slightly more than 30mins for the food to arrive. The claypot arrived appeared very hot, but when I mixed with the sauces and served in bowls, the rice tasted lukewarm and not piping hot as I would have expected. I decided to read the past reviews and realized that many have commented that the claypot rice was reheated and not cooked from the start. The overall taste was okay as the serving was generous and the ingredients were fresh. I would have preferred claypot rice to be cooked from the beginning and served piping hot, but different people may have different preferences.

Soggy rice and the chicken had this weird smell and taste. Store front guy is friendly though. Price is alright also.

The claypot rice standard drop! If can, i’ll give ‘0’ star. Rice super soggy & the burnt taste is so strong. Tasteless Soup! The food served within 5mins time. Please do not try unless you want to throw your $$ into the sea. I feel that the owner doesn’t use their to cook & manage the business. Very disappointed! Will never ever come back this claypot rice again!

Got to be the worst claypot rice I have eaten, the burnt smell is too strong not sparing the rice and meat. The veg was yellowed from being overly cooked. The rice was very soggy and tasteless even after pouring so much dark soy sauce. 1st and last time, look at the amount of rice left. Only ate a few mouthful and had to stop due to the overbearing burnt smell and taste. Felt so bad to be wasting food. Not sure what is so good about it or I'm just plain unlucky to get the bad pot out of the so many pots. Treat it as a lesson, at least I tried and know how it tasted. And this cost $14.

Followed n eaten at this shop since their early days in Magarette Drive in the 90s. Now they are located in Alexandra Hawker Centre. Do go n try. Can be crowded at times. The burn of the Claypot is strong. Add oil n sauces to your taste n mix yourself. This is the fun part 😂😂😂. Their veg dish compliment very well too. Have an avocado juice too when you are there. Strong n milky but I like it. Enjoy.
