Lunched alone here. Not crowded on a weekday. Had curry chicken and 2 other veggies. Overall quite good experience just that I don’t know if I can get drinks or not. It’s not visible but it might be behind if need to order drinks

Serving food for a cause, this community kitchen offers rice with mixed dishes, Nonya laksa, Nasi Lemak, otak, traditional coffee and tea, amongst other a la carte dishes that can be ordered. It is a place where senior citizens are often seen having tea and chatting with one another, and a lunch spot frequented by those working nearby. The prices are reasonable and open-air seating is available. With a casual and relaxing ambience, it opens from morning to after lunch time.

Loved the mission (till date, donated more than 168k of free food to the needy) and food of S17 Community Kitchen, an under-rated place. I tried their beef rendang and it was juicy, moist and soft--- honestly 1 of the best I tried in Singapore. I tried their fish, but there was a slight fishy taste. They offer a recent ice cream promotion as well. Definitely a hidden gem in the neighborhood.

Good food for a good cause. Nasi padang during lunch time, and peranakan food in the evenings. I like the beef rendang! They also do take away oders of nasi ambeng and pernakan food. Every Saturday, they provide free meals to neighbourhood residents.

Authentic Peranakan food, loved the special dish of the day, Otak with thick fish meat, leave wrapped and grilled! Impressive beef rendang, squid, sambal batang fish, with lemongrass infused basmati rice. Will be back to try the various chicken dishes, prawns and other options! Interesting lime juice drink with salted plum was offered on the house, while waiting for dishes to be prepared, nice touch!
