Ordered spicy tonkotsu ramen for $22.66 (inclusive of service charge and GST) via a QR code given. The broth was really good, and I loved how flavourful it was. The spicy pork was delicious as well, and the seaweed went really well with everything. The charshu was really plain though, and did not taste nice - I didn't even finish it. There were free toppings on the table such as hard boiled eggs (which you have to peel by yourself) and others such as chilli oil, sesame seeds, etc. The service was not very good in the sense that while things were done, the attitude could definitely have been improved. The demeanour of the service staff did not seem too friendly, with minimal smiles and I noticed how a few of them just stood there and didn't do much. I also noticed that there was a long queue when I exited and I feel that the service staff could have asked the diners who had already finished eating if they could clear their table to make way for the next group. If I'm in the area, I would come back for the ramen but would lower my expectations with regards to the service.
View on GoogleFood here is not bad, prices are also acceptable. We tried the: • Truffle Mazesoba: This was not bad, the pork was super tasty. However, the flavour fell a bit flat after a few more mouthfuls. Nevertheless, still a tasty bowl though I think the spicy mazesoba would have fared better. • Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen with Full Toppings: I really liked their spicy minced pork, it was so tasty! The soup itself was also quite good. The chasu was a letdown though, it tasted like plain boiled slices of pork. Would recommend to get this with just the egg and seaweed. • Gyoza: Average, can skip this. Complimentary water is provided here, ordering is done via QR code, but payment is at the cashier. The place wasn't too crowded on a weekday during lunch. Overall, it's a good option for ramen in the area, I'll be back for sure given that the prices are also relatively reasonable!
View on GoogleWow wow wow. I have eaten my fair share of ramen in Singapore (and Japan), and oh man, this gotta be one of the better ones I have had in a long time. Solid broth, perfect noodle texture, tender char siu. They give free eggs too! I love adding a touch of crispy garlic into the spicy broth. I will be back.
View on GoogleDelicious tonkotsu ramen , it was super yummy and not overly rich. The sashimi salad was fresh and the sauce was tasty. YuLai drink was really refreshing. Definitely will come back again :)
View on GoogleOutstanding ramen that’s worth traveling for. In the running for the best in Singapore — it’s certainly among my personal favorite. Rich and beautifully balanced broth, toppings are also well done. I loved their pickled cucumbers. Service is fast and efficient.
