My first visit was on a weekday, and it was quite quiet. The second time was on a Sunday, and it was much noisier. Both times, I ordered the same iced cloud coffee. The presentation is very interesting. The first time, I really liked it — you could taste a nice hint of saltiness from the cream. However, the second time, the taste was different. It was still creamy, but less interesting compared to the first visit.

Was invited for a meal for a private event from my FA yesterday and was very pleased with the service and food standard rendered to me! My guest and I ordered the following: • Miso butter crab linguine • Seafood laksa pasta • Mentaiko tater tots • Iced matcha strawberry cloud latte • Lychee flora fresca • Ondeh ondeh cake • Chicken skin (original) First of all, I have to say the beverage is surprisingly the best in our opinion and i’ve never had a beverage so yummy and I wanted a second glass lol. Absolutely loved the crab linguine! Full of crab meat and great miso base love love love! My guest’s seafood pasta was feedback to be a lil salty but overall tasty! Mentaiko tater tots EXTREMELY CRISPY! 10/10 would order again for sharing. 🥔 Ondeh Ondeh cake was too sweet for my liking but crispy chicken skin very very good! 👍🏻 Nice and calm atmosphere, polite and helpful staff! Easily accessible by Exit 4 of Upper Thomson MRT station, walk straight all the way until the end of the road you’ll find TomoCafe 😍

Visited ToMo Cafe at Upper Thomson and had a really enjoyable meal overall. We ordered the Wagyu Hamburg Don, Salmon Spinach Pasta, and two drinks. the Iced Matcha Cloud Latte and Iced Hojicha Goma Cloud Latte. The Wagyu Hamburg Don had a very flavorful beef patty and a rich sauce that paired nicely with the egg and toppings. The only downside was that the rice in my bowl was slightly undercooked as shown in my video. That said, the wagyu itself was still juicy and well-seasoned, so it didn’t completely take away from the dish. The Salmon Spinach Pasta was a pleasant surprise. The salmon was nicely cooked and the spinach added a nice balance, making the dish feel lighter and not overly heavy. The menu here mixes Japanese-inspired dishes with Western cafe food, which makes is diverse. But the real highlight for me was the drinks. The Matcha Cloud Latte and Hojicha Goma Cloud Latte were honestly amazing. The matcha had a strong, earthy flavour and wasn’t overly sweet, while the hojicha paired beautifully with the nutty black sesame cream. Their drinks are creamy, fragrant, and really well balanced. In fact, these might genuinely be some of the best matcha and hojicha drinks I’ve had in Singapore. Overall, despite the slightly undercooked rice in my don, the food, drinks and cozy cafe atmosphere made this a great experience. Definitely a nice spot to chill, especially if you’re a matcha or hojicha lover.

Tried a few dishes here and overall it was a really enjoyable meal. The Laksa Pasta stood out — rich and flavourful, with grilled prawns that were cooked just right. The Chilli Crab Pasta was another highlight, with a tangy, tasty sauce that was honestly quite addictive. We also had the Crispy Chicken Don, which was delicious, especially with the egg mayo inside that added a nice creamy touch. For drinks, we ordered three and the Strawberry Matcha was our favourite — refreshing and well-balanced. The Tiramisu Latte was good, and the Salted Cloud Latte was interesting and worth a try. Definitely a satisfying dining experience with some unique flavours!

Sometimes coffee is about the experience.. 😄 As usual, my first question to the barista is what coffee beans are you guys using 😆 Despite an initial, intense, bitter shock from the dark roast in the piccolo, my palate adjusted via my periodically sipping to uncover a rewarding experience - the single shot of espresso allowed the buttery chocolatey-nut, dark-roasted flavors to hit first, which were then beautifully balanced by the milk's sweetness, highlighting their Indonesia/Brazil special origin blend. Thank you, Henry! I appreciate that you encouraged me to try something new. You have great customer service - trying to show me a different side of your coffee 🤭
