$8 - salted egg prawn rice with fried egg This place has the worst salted egg sauce ever. Firstly they use small frozen prawns. It's 8 bucks, fine. They fry the prawns with the tail in them. Fine. The salted egg sauce was STARCH with salted egg white instead of yolk. So you get none of the fragrance associated with salted egg, and all the salt. Then I tried to pay with grab because they're on the dine out deals platform, but the employee said 老板不给. (the boss won't allow) The owner of this place is unscrupulous and this is false advertising. This place used to be decent for a cheap and quick lunch but now for 8 dollars it's not even worth it. Do not bother!

This place serves undoubtedly the WORST salted egg chicken rice ever. Instead of a salted egg sauce, they serve a plate of gluey, pathetic dry chicken bits that has NO salted egg in it at all. And why are there small bits that look like tofu in it?? The entire plate was a starchy mess and no salted egg taste at all! Paid extra to add a sunny side up and the egg came half of it hanging OUTSIDE the plate. The server said sorry n started blaming the kitchen. I can only say both the kitchen and server take no pride in their work because none of them bother to put the egg back into the plate. They both chose to serve it knowing that this is not presentable. When feedback was given to the lady boss(?), she didn’t even apologise and just simply walked away. Hello, customers are not beggars ok! The photos n bad reviews say it all. Regretted not reading up the on reviews before choosing to dine in. For sure this will be my first and last time there. Both food and service attitude 👎🏻

The worst ever Zichar stall, wonder how they are still operating for so long. Salted egg chicken didn’t taste like it, dry beef horfun looks like char kway teow and taste bad. Regretted not looking at the review before patronising. Photo as shown, is what we had and we left the cafe for other food as it is really bad to even continue eating.

Impeccable service :) Ordered the cereal chicken - felt that the cereal wasnt enough - asked for a top up. Store generously topped up for us. Sambal kangkong was too spicy. Staff saw us sweating and offered us iced water + tissue FOC. Will def recommend to friends.

The food taste good! We had the Curry dice chicken rice add egg, and the black pepper beef add egg! 🍛 The price is very reasonable for the quantity and quality. Would love to try more of their other dishes another time. The place can get a little crowded and seemed to be under staff. But do give them some patience and they will still service decently :)
