Had a pleasant dinner at Soi 19. The space is clean, casual, and comfortable for a quick Thai meal. The steamed fish was fresh with bright flavours from the lime and herbs, while the basil pork rice was satisfying and well-seasoned. What stood out most was the service — staff were attentive, came by to check on the food, and made the effort to thank diners when leaving. A small touch, but it made the experience more welcoming. Overall, a solid spot for fuss-free Thai food with warm service. Would retu
View on GoogleI have been back to Soi 19 Wanton Mee at Upper Thomson multiple times for lunch and I almost always order their signature wanton mee. It is that kind of place. The noodles are beautifully springy with a great bite, tossed in a fragrant mix of seasoning and lard that gives every mouthful real depth. Toppings are generous too, including vegetables, Thai sweet sausage, char siew, and addictive crispy pork lard that adds extra crunch and richness. The black sauce version brings a subtle sweetness that balances the savoury flavours nicely. It also comes with a comforting bowl of peppery clear broth on the side. The fried pork is another must order. Crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and packed with flavour. I tried the assam fish curry pao fan once. The portion was generous, but the wanton mee is still the clear star of the show. Prices are reasonable, the place is clean with pleasant seating, and it is self service. A reliable and satisfying lunch spot when you are craving a hearty bowl of wanton mee.
View on GoogleOrdered the Thai Tom Yam soup which had scallop, prawns, squid and mushrooms. The portion sizes are impressive, and given the quality of the ingredients, it is definitely worth the price. A fantastic, hearty meal that I’d highly recommend to anyone craving authentic flavors and fresh seafood!
View on GoogleDecent bowl of wonton mee tossed with black sauce. Wonton is crispy and not overly oily. Portion is huge and reasonable priced. Tried the hot milk tea it was fragrant, rich and refreshing.
View on GoogleNoodle was good, I came here for lunch and dinner 😋. Must try their signature noodle (4.8/5, if the chilli is spicier will give 5), fish sausages (4/5) and Fried dumplings (4.5/5). Expect long Q during peak hour and 15-20 mins waiting time
