I had a disappointing experience overall at this restaurant. While the cashier was friendly and pleasant, the service at the self-collection area was the opposite the kitchen staff there came across as quite rude, which affected the dining experience. The food itself was below expectations. The rice was heavily coated in a tomato-based sauce that was overly sweet, making it hard to tell what I was eating. The meat had an unpleasant, rubbery texture. The egg tart lacked flavour and fragrance, and the char siew pastry was also quite bland, with no noticeable aroma or depth of taste. Considering the quality of the food and overall experience, the pricing does not feel justified.

3 meat platter $24. I would only recommend the char siew meat. Roast duck and sio bak are just like any other. The chilli provided is not so good also. Definitely not returning. Overall not so good.

The place is perpetually crowded every mealtime and not because of fantastic food, but simply because all parents are waiting for their kids to finish their class nearby. You have to wait for seats and queue up to order your food through a machine. So it is frustration even before you order your food. Food quality is ok; not bad but not fantastic, it is just a hong kong themed restaurant with a connecting bakery. Service staff are there mainly to try split seats for u if you are occupying more seats than you should. For the aircon comfort and reasonable price, I think nothing to complain.

Getting worse. I ordered coffee 2 months ago, your coffee was diluted.. today I change to Yuan Yang as it should be better since is Hong Kong cafe. Equally disappointing, it’s as plain as water. I feedback to your staff and your staff told me I should have request for sugar and not complain and advise by your staff add more sugar will magically taste like Yuan Yang. I m totally speechless. I also realised the food portion is reduced significantly.. they are slightly bigger than bite size but charges increased. I do NOT recommend eating here again.

Ordered the set meal that comes with a drink. Beef brisket noodles, curry beef brisket with rice x 2 sets, ham macaroni with egg, pork chop with fried rice. To be frank, the food taste is very average. Curry beef brisket with barely any beef brisket. The two bowls of curry were served lukewarm, only rice was hot. Beef brisket noodles average. Macaroni average. Pork chop was hard. Fried rice bland. Tried the lemon custard bread. No lemon taste. Bought the polo char Siew bread, yet to try. Food seemed to be from central kitchen, no quality check. How is food served lukewarm? Management please look into quality of food.
