Sin Ming Popiah is a hidden gem for anyone craving a well-made traditional popiah. Every roll is wrapped tightly, making it easy to enjoy without the filling spilling out. Cost $2.20 for one popiah. The fresh ingredients are well balanced, with a delightful combination of crunchy vegetables, savoury turnip filling, and flavourful sauces that come together beautifully in every bite. What makes this place even more special is that it is known for producing fresh popiah skins on-site, giving each roll a soft yet resilient texture. While there is no dine-in seating available, the delicious quality of the popiah makes it well worth taking away and enjoying elsewhere.
View on GoogleOrdered via delivery got the popiah platter . They offered condiments such as peanut , crunchy bits , shredded egg, fresh spicy chili paste and garlic n sweet sauce . The turnip filling was nice . But I felt the skin was too think and it will break, you have to squeeze the liquid out of turnip prior to wrapping .
View on GoogleAlongside their renowned popiah, they offer a tantalizing array of dishes, including Laksa, Kueh Pie Tee, Yam Cake, Chee Cheong Fun, and an assortment of sweet and savory waffles. The freshness of the ingredients is evident in every bite. I am pleasantly surprised that my kids love the laska too. There are so much effort put in the preparation of the food. I would definitely come back again.
View on GoogleFood is decent, best popiah in the area. The middle aged aunty's service deserves a mention. She stared at me when I said I wanted popiah. I was like.. perturbed. Then she said in a very duh and rude tone I need to mention how many pieces. When she could have asked me how many i wanted. Unfortunately this place isn't that famous that we need to Subject ourselves to such attitude from their staff.
View on GoogleAs my regular popiah skin stall was closed, I decided to try Ann Chin. Unfortunately, my first experience was disappointing due to the subpar quality of the popiah skin. The skin was chewy, but its production quality was lacking, with noticeable inconsistencies in size and a rough texture featuring tears at the edges. I personally don't anticipate visiting this store again.
