I went there last Sunday for lunch as other places were too crowded. We never go there as we heard the service is quite bad. But i didnt imagine how bad. The service is the worst I have encountered. There are 2 ladies. 1 is more pleasant but seems like she's in the back manning the cashier or something but there weren't many customers to begin with - only 3 tables. The 2nd waitress is not interested in her job. She's not out in front seeing to her customers but busy on her phone in the back. She didn't understand when we asked for our orders to be taken. How did she not understand when we had been sitting in the restaurant long enough! Most Fnb staff would be proactive to come to the table and ask if we were ready to order. Well this one looked unhappy that she got interrupted! As our Mandarin is not the best, we tried to order in English and she got very loud and rude about it! The other staff was more pleasant and tried to assist but she couldn't speak a word of English too! When the grumpy staff returned to serve us our side dishes and food, she just slid them onto the corner of the table without placing the dishes properly on the table. As I was walking towards the restroom, I peaked over her shoulders when I walked past, she was busy on her chats reading and sending msgs and emoticons! Later my sister waved for service since no one was around. What this staff did was from where she was at the back, she just shouted and asked what she wanted! We had had enough. My sister went over to tell her she shouldn't be shouting at customers. After that she became more conscious and tried to serve the other table better. Food-wise was just average. And they only served us 3 side dishes which is too pathetic/stingy for a korean restaurant. The food standard and the service did not meet up to the total bill of about $100. This was our 1st and last time. We'll never enter this place again

My family was around Thomson area and didn't know what to eat. We saw this cosy place and decided to give it a try and certainly glad we did! We love the kimchi rice and army stew. Delicious and perfect, especially if on a rainy day. The staff were polite and attentive. Will definitely be back again!

Food was not bad, service was a letdown and pricey. We went on Christmas day, the restaurant was less than half filled. When the waitress said they do not refill side dishes, we were shocked as most korean restaurants do refills. The portions of the side dishes were too little for 4 of us, as we gobbled all before the main dishes arrived. After that, she even dropped the bottle of water onto the table with displeasure. It is likely the first and last time I will go, wouldn't have gone if not for friend's recommendation and reading other reviews here. The supposedly nice Korean boss wasn't in and we only got served bad attitude. Bbq beef was precooked and served on the hotplate instead of on our table. After that no refill, we didnt even felt like asking for more lettuce to go with the salty beef. Jajamyeonn noodle portion was a tad small portion for $16, beef was pricey and no table bbq option for $32. It took away the authenticity and purpose of ordering bbq beef when menu shows raw meat but we got served the precooked beef in differently sized cubes (not like menu picture). The only mention worthy food was the fried chicken with soy but the sauce for yangnnyeom was too sweet and much. Fried chicken comes in half chicken or whole chicken and pure wings. We feedback that it would have been nicer if they have drumsticks options was not many would enjoy breast and other chopped chicken parts, the waiter simply replied no such option. Customer feedback and customer service are important for your business. We hope the bosses read the comments and improve the areas feedback by the various customers online.

Tried once and that’s it. In the first place, I don’t fancy Korean food. The menu prices were steep but we thought to just give it a shot on a rainy day as we didn’t want to go far. Secondly, portions were small and while we were eating, back of my mind is that the margins were so high on a simple fried egg dish. Like I said, go once for convenience and never again.

To be honest, weren’t very hungry so only ordered 2 dishes- chicken bulgogi and seafood tofu soup 5 stars for the tofu soup! Would come back for it. Tasty, with just enough spiciness and right portion of ingredients. Sadly wouldn’t say the same for the chicken bulgogi, felt like the Korean restaurant in NUS had better chicken bulgogi 🥲 it seems to be the non-sweet kind which is fine but the chicken bits seemed a little big sized and possibly a little over cooked? Would have preferred if they were a little more tender.. The side dishes were fine albeit on the spicy side. Beer is not bad, $10 for a big bottle. Maybe next time can try the BBQ. Maybe it’ll be better.
