We pick this cafe randomly as we were looking for a place for lunch. The food was great. Especially the French toast. However the sitting time of 45 mins was too short and we were being asked to leave even though we had not finish as there was another group which need our table despite that there are outdoor seats still available. If you think you can finish within 45 mins. This will be a nice choice in the area

Reliable brunch place - thumbs up on both food and coffee. The big breakfast is still under $20, which is uncommon these days in a number of brunch places. And as the name suggests, it really is quite big, so order when hungry. My personal fave is the croissant and eggs. It's simple but it means they need the eggs to be nice and fluffy, the croissant to be buttery, crunchy on the outside, pillowy on the inside -- which they are. They used to have this truffled though, hoping they bring it back. Their mocha is one of my faves around, they use powder instead of syrup which is usually the better one. Update: their french toast is also yum!

Went to try out this cute little cafe after a long night shift. Food was good, and very affordable! The carbonara was pree average, nothing too special. I absolutely love the bacon jam! As well as the tater tots. Considering the portion size of the food, It is deff one of the most affordable brunch places I’ve had the pleasure of trying. Also, their little clay coasters are really cute!

Great food at a decent price - unlike most other brunch places, you're able to get a decent bang for your buck - brunch goes for anywhere between 14-20 for a hefty sized portion - ordered the croissant with scrambled egg with a side of avocado at 19 - the gashouse eggs (maybe spelt wrongly) was pretty darn special and worth a trip back. Oozy center with an interesting cheesy crust along with the delicious bacon jam just hit the spot - keep the brioche toast for desert as you can add on a scoop of vanilla ice cream

Used the Burpple deal at this quaint café on a weekday early afternoon. Place was packed & we had to wait around 15-20min for a table of 2 to clear up. With the deal, we got 2 main courses - baked eggs & pasta. Eggs were superbly cooked, pita bread dipped into the savoury tomato sauce is a delicious combination; tom yum pasta was good but not the best, could have used fresh prawns instead of frozen ones. I know the gashouse eggs is the popular dish, so I might just be back to try it.
