Had such a satisfying meal at Beach Road Scissors Cut Curry Rice 😍 Everything was super comforting and packed with flavor. The curry sauce was rich and fragrant—perfect over the rice, soaking into every bite. Loved the variety of dishes too: crispy pork cutlet that was crunchy on the outside and juicy inside, soft braised pork with savory sauce, and simple stir-fried veggies that balanced everything out nicely. What makes it even better is how you can mix and match your own combo—each plate feels personalized. Portion was generous and the prices are really reasonable for the quality. Definitely one of those no-frills spots that delivers big on taste. Will be back again for sure! 🍛✨

Pretty good. Servers are inclined to drown your rice in curry. Sure, some curry is good, I'm not sure that the waterboarding treatment is necessary. That said, server quickly rectified the issue when asked. Perhaps this is a common preference for customers here, and I'm the atypical one? Dishes were alright. True to the traditional methods and flavors.

The taste was still as good Value for money too and portion wasn’t cut down. Staff was patient and allowed you to take your time to place your order. Didn’t rush you even when there was a queue; Tended to all requests too

Messily good! It epitomizes the goodness of our Chinese Economical Rice, where it brought out the best taste by just assembling some of the most basic dishes together and concocted by mixing various curries & the braised sauce. It would have been even better if the food or at least the gravy were kept warmer.
