Ordering from Thomson branch is a very disappointing experience. The staff attitude is poor, lack of care and often don’t seem to understand customer orders, constant mistakes no matter ordering through Grab or in person. Items I clearly asked to be removed were still added to my order. This has happened more than once, which makes me question whether they’re illiterate or intentionally ignored. Ordered two cups, one pistachio and one cookie sauce, but received one honey and another in peanut butter. Requested no granola and no nuts for both, yet both cup was still full of them. I also asked for no bananas, but there were bananas on top and middle of the cup. It feels like whatever you ask to remove, they still put it in anyway. Do you understand it’s wasted food and a frustrating wait for delivery, only to receive the wrong order. It’s only this particular outlet, it’s very different from other outlets like Bukit Timah, where staff are friendly, attentive, and get the orders right. Honestly, I would rather pay extra and order from other outlets, but unfortunately it’s outside the delivery area. Kindly look into this matter.

The menu looks aesthetic, but it is not very practical and can be a little difficult to order from. I also find the takeaway cup slightly difficult to eat from. I think it would be better if it were served in a takeaway bowl instead. The butterscotch cream and granola taste good though. I just feel that there are a bit too many chia seeds. Other than that, I feel the açaí is quite ordinary and does not really stand out as anything particularly special. It looks healthy at first glance, but it is actually quite costly, and with some of the sweeter toppings added, it may not necessarily be as healthy as it seems.

Poor customer service. I was standing at the counter waiting to order, but the two female staff seemed more interested in chatting with each other. When I approached, they appeared reluctant to assist and commented that it wasn’t their responsibility. Thankfully, a male staff member stepped in and served me politely and professionally. This happened on 6 July, just after 7:00 pm, when there were no other customers in the queue. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time I’ve experienced such indifferent and unprofessional service at this outlet. While the açaí itself is good, the quality is inconsistent—the cup is often not filled to the top. What really puts me off, however, is the staff’s lackadaisical attitude. A good product can only go so far when the customer experience is consistently disappointing.

Really enjoyed my visit to An Acai Affair! The açaí bowls were super fresh. Toppings quite generous also, especially the fruits and granola. Can customise your own bowl, which is a big plus. The shop is clean and nice, got that aesthetic vibe. Staff were friendly and quite efficient even though it was a bit busy. Good place for a quick healthy snack or after gym. Will come back 👍

I ordered the Nutty Party for $7. Overall, I think it tastes alright but the amount of sorbet is overwhelmed by the amount of toppings. The whole experience will be much more balanced with lower price, less topping and more sorbet. But of course, the shop likely wants to make the cup looks nicer which requires more toppings and thereby higher price. Oh, and the earlier reviews someone else made about trashcan full, no customers in shop, nobody clearing the trashcan is still true. In fact, the trashcan was stacked above limit already. The comments about the sticky and dirty table is also true. I was wiping the table myself to get rid of some leftover crumbs and the table is really quite sticky.
