They had the best fish soup and best prata. The fish soup broth was light, clean, and naturally sweet from the vegetables, making it very easy to drink without feeling too heavy. The fish slices were fresh and tender, while the addition of fried fish skin gave the soup extra flavour and texture. There was also a good mix of ingredients like napa cabbage, tomatoes, and tofu, making the bowl feel hearty and well-balanced. Paired with a bowl of warm white rice and fresh chili on the side, it made for a simple yet satisfying meal. Overall, a comforting and wholesome option, especially if you’re looking for something less oily and more homely. Great for a quick lunch or rainy day meal! The prata was freshly made with a crispy exterior and soft, fluffy layers inside. It had a nice buttery fragrance and wasn’t overly greasy, making it really enjoyable on its own. Paired with the curry, every bite was flavorful and comforting, with the curry adding just the right amount of spice and richness.
View on GoogleLocal coffeeshop. Serves good kway-chap from 6pm to 2am. Wide variety from pork belly slices to intestines to fish cake and tofu. We like how they do their dishes and the kway is not oily. Recommend kway, pork belly, tofu and intestines if u are into intestines(not odd snell or taste)
View on GoogleIf you live in bishan and have not heard of KPT Coffeeshop, you really should get out more. This coffeeshop is famous for its kway chap(284 kway chap) which operates at night. So if you are craving kway chap, don't come here in the morning or afternoon. It is pretty expensive though, so prepare to shell out quite a bit. The other stalls are pretty average, and I think the yong tau foo is pretty good too. Their laksa broth and ingredients are pretty tasty. I would recommend these two items to anyone visiting this coffeeshop. Overall, this is a pretty decent coffeeshop. Decent, not great. Do come here to try their kway chap.
View on GoogleThis morning I passing here for breakfast. Ordered the thick coffee with Mike, fried Bee hoon with chicken wing.. My comments here : 1. The cost of each item is not cheap. Coffee cost $1.50 but the quality is so bad that it so diluted and don't even get tasted a coffee. Very much like drinking a sweet drink. 2. Bee hoon will cost me $4.70. Firstly, the quantity of Bee hoon is not a lot plus too wet. Luckily the Chicken wing still feel some warm.
View on GoogleToday I tried the $6 Prawn Noodle here. 5 ½ Prawns for my $6 bowl and I find the broth doesn’t have the thick, prawn taste like the more legendary ones! The overall taste is acceptable! The Red Chilli Powder is also not as spicy too!
